Spanish National Honor Society

The Spanish Honor Society is an organization for those who love the Spanish language and culture. Membership is by invitation only. The criteria are a grade of B or better and a love of the language and culture. We have our induction each November. Our annual service project is collecting money in November to provide at least ten turkey dinners for Thanksgiving and ten more for Christmas to needy families in the Morgan family. We also have an annual trip (December) to NYC to see a play at the Spanish Repertory Theater in Gramercy Park. In January we celebrate Three Kings Day with a party at school. In the spring we have a picnic at Hammonassett State Park. Other activities are scheduled according to students’ interest. The Morgan chapter was started in 1987.
