INFORMATION FOR SENIORS

**MEET WITH YOUR COUNSELOR!!

** TRANSCRIPT REQUEST FORMS – Must be filled out for each college applied to, and for many scholarships.  Watch deadlines!!!  These must be turned in TEN (10) SCHOOL DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR DEADLINE DATE.  (Be careful of deadline dates that fall during or just after a school vacation.)

**SAT I and SAT II – Be sure to register by the deadline dates (get booklet in guidance, or register on-line at www.collegeboard.com)

**COLLEGE APPLICATION AND SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINES – Follow very carefully, and remember, earlier is better!!

**MEET WITH YOUR COUNSELOR!  (ASK QUESTIONS)

** FINANCIAL AID WORKSHOP – Thursday, December 4, 2008 @ 7 PM in the Morgan cafeteria.  Be sure that your parents attend!

** PROFILE AND AFAFSA FORMS – These are financial aid forms that need to be filled out in order to qualify for any financial aid from the college, or federal or state government.

** COLLEGE REPRESENTATIVE VISITS TO GUIDANCE OFFICE AND COLLEGE OPEN HOUSE DAYS – Take advantage of these (Calendar of dates/colleges in HR and Guidance Office)

** MEET WITH YOUR COUNSELOR!

** NCAA CLEARINGHOUSE REGISTRATION – For Division I and II athletics.  (Website is www.ncaaclearinghouse.net for information/registration form – click on “Prospective Student Athlete”.  Remember you also need to put in a transcript request form.)

** LISTEN CAREFULLY TO (OR READ) THE DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS for information that is vital to seniors.

** YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE for the timely preparation and submission of your application materials.
