If you are concerned about a student,
Your child, your child’s friend, another student who is having difficulty in school, with family problems with adjustment, making friends, with substance abuse, emotionally……
Then the Morgan Student Assistance Team may be able to help.
How MSAT works:
*A concerned teacher, adult or student refers a student who is having difficulty to the student assistance team.
*One of the team’s members is assigned to: collect information from teachers and other school personnel about the student and to interview the student personally.
*The student assistance team meets to review the information, consider options, and to work towards resolution.
*The MSAT meets twice weekly to review student progress and new referrals. The team tries to coordinate the use of school resources to assist students who are experiencing difficulty.
