2009 SUMMER READING LIST

Everyone at Joel and the Henry Carter Hull Library wishes you a happy, healthy summer vacation surrounded by books!

·   We encourage all students to read for pleasure.

·   This list of SUGGESTIONS can help you choose books you’ll enjoy.

·   Choose and read at least 5 books this summer.

·   List the titles of all the books (or magazines) you finished on the Governor’s Summer Reading form attached.  Bring the form to school in September.

·   It counts if you read the book; if someone reads to you; if you read with someone else, taking turns reading aloud, or if you listened to an audio book.

  ALL READING COUNTS!

·   Tell your friends about the books you liked, and listen to their ideas.  Plan a “book exchange”, and then meet again to compare the books. It’s really so much fun to talk about books with friends.
