TO:                  All Staff FROM:             Jack Cross DATE:              March 4, 2008 RE:                  Classified Employee of the Year Award Nominations   In November 1989, the Clinton Board of Education approved an appreciation program that recognized an outstanding classified employee of the year.  A selection committee comprised of classified staff, teachers, and administrators, met to discuss the eligibility criteria, review the nominations and choose a winner.   To that end, the selection committee established the following criteria for determining eligibility for the Classified Employee of the Year Award:   Ø       Minimum of three (3) years employment in Clinton Public Schools Ø       Good interpersonal skills and consistent positive attitude Ø       Dedication to the students of Clinton by providing service above and beyond what the regular job requires without additional compensation Ø       Flexibility   Any staff member can submit one signed nomination form.
