Enrichment Support Drive 2009-10

 September 2009

Greetings,

As summer fades to a memory and the school year begins, we would like to welcome all of the Eliot Families!  The Friends of Eliot (FOE) Officers and Committee Members have gotten an early start to planning some fantastic events for the upcoming school year.  The goal of FOE is to bring the Eliot Community together to improve the educational environment of our children.  We have found that by working together and trying new ideas, organizations can truly enhance their objectives and achieve their goals.  This year we are excited to offer something new, The FOE Enrichment/Support Drive.  We will also be hosting the 3rd  annual Shopper’s Showcase and Fashion Show at Eliot on Saturday, November 14thPasta Night on Thursday, March 25th, and our 3rd annual “Rock and Walkathon” on Thursday, May 13th.  We also have some exciting news.  This year The FOE was able to purchase a school message board for the front of our school.  This is such a great addition to Eliot.  We would like to thank Cheryl Raab for all of her efforts in allowing this all to happen.  Our FOE meetings are held on Monday evenings at 7:00 starting on September 28th in the conference room at Eliot.    Please join us at the meeting on the 28th and bring your enthusiasm and ideas.  We would like to personally thank the Board and Committee Members for their hard work and dedication.

Best Regards,

Jaime Jones & Beth Robertson

FOE Enrichment/Support Drive 2009-2010

This year we would like to offer Eliot Families the opportunity to make a donation of any amount towards the FOE Enrichment/Support Drive.  We know many families are busy during the school year and do not have a lot of time to help out in their child’s school.  This is a way for families to help and contribute towards the improvement of the Eliot Community.  Your donation will support Enrichment Programs, Teacher Requests, Classroom Supplies as well as New Technology and the Eliot School as a whole.  As always, we thank you for your continued support.

Best Regards,

Friends of Eliot
