(CAPSS AWARD)

     CAPSS Award Criteria: The award is given to two eight grade students who exhibit the following qualities:

• Leadership & service to school

• Academic prowess relative to their ability
• Service to others in the community

This year's award was given to Yamil Roman & Katherine Gosselin at annual fall dinner for CAPSS members .

Teachers wrote that Kate's personality and determination makes her a wonderful recipient for this award.  She is outgoing, trustworthy and extremely organized.   Katie is a well-rounded young lady who excels in all her efforts .

Yamil's teachers wrote that he is a three-year soccer player who is a honor roll student.  He has impeccable manners and truly exemplifies the pillars of character .  Yamil volunteers time to church activities.
